As you know, the CDC released interim infection control guidance on April 13, 2020 stating that all visitors should be instructed to wear a facemask or cloth face covering at all times while in hospital facilities. CMS and accrediting organizations expect hospitals to adhere to CDC recommendations. Hence, we are asking our accredited hospitals to require all visitors to wear a mask or cloth face covering while in your facility.
